Atlas Robotics, Inc, is a US, Silicon Valley-based startup, where we are pushing the limits to deliver practical, safe, and scalable autonomous transportation solutions, and currently looking for a few good engineers for the following openings at the office in Korea.
Opening Positions: All-level, Robotics Engineer (s) for Behavior/motion planning, Control, Perception and/or Computer Vision, and System Integration
Qualifications:
1) Must-to-have: Your skillset should be qualified to write codes in a high-quality for any of the above-mentioned openings. Particularly, what we’d like to see from you is,
- Demonstrable SW coding skills in C++ at Linux dev environment,
- Hand-on experience in the related fields,
- Solid understanding on engineering math, linear algebra, multivariate statistics, and/or probabilistic approach to robotics,
- Familiar with writing codes in Linux environments, e.g., using open source libraries like OMPL/OpenCV, PCL, Eigen, boost, etc, and using dev tools like CMake, Git, etc,
- Strong interest in working on exciting and rewarding, but very challenging problems,
- Passionate about autonomous transportation technologies.
2) Nice-to-have:
- For the behavior/motion planning position, experience in developing any motion planning algorithms like deterministic graph search algorithms (e.g., Hybrid A*, D*, etc) and/or probabilistic graph search algorithms (e.g., RRT, RRT*, PRM, etc),
- For the control position, MPC, PID for regulating actuation commands on the actual mobile robot platforms,
- For the perception/computer vision position, experience in estimating mobile robot states using Bayes filters (e.g., EKF, UKF, etc), in CNN, esp., FCN, in SLAM, esp., graph-optimization based SLAM,
- For the integration position, experience of putting codes, sensors, and actuators together for any mobile robot platforms in ROS, shell (e.g., Bash) scripting,
- Experience of working w/ ROS, writing Python codes, unit testing,
- Excellency in C++ coding,
- PhD/Masters degree in the related fields, e.g., Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,
- Direct experience with autonomous transportation is A plus!
