Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students (GSFS) at SNU
In order to provide more equal opportunities for foreign students, the applying method is as the following: For students who wish to apply for GSFS, s/he should first go through the application process for foreign students at admission.snu.ac.kr. While Office of International Affairs deals with GSFS, Office of Admissions is in charge of admission application. After submitting your admission applications online, please send your scholarship application for the GSFS to Office of International Affairs.

<Eligibility Criteria>
(a) International applicants who are currently enrolling or who graduated from the eligible countries of Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Graduate Students Program (b) International applicants who applied for Spring 2020 Admission of SNU.
(c) Students who applied for the designated departments which participate with GSFS Program for Spring 2020. See <Number of Selections> for information on designated departments.

(a) Applying for international admission online at admission.snu.ac.kr
(b) Submission of Admission Application to SNU Office of Admissions
<Notice of Awards>
Students will be notified by e-mail individually in August 13(Tue), 2019.
* Only those who finally selected as GSFS recipients will be contacted by email.
<Renewal of Scholarship >
(a) Scholarship may be renewed on an academic semester basis; the recipients must maintain an average grade point level of 3.0/4.3.
(b) Please note that the recipients of GSFS Program might be restricted of taking leave of absence. For leave of absence, recipients should contact OIA and the office of representative college office.
1. Application fee & Tuition: The application fee (₩90,000) should be paid online as you apply for admission. GSFS does not cover application fee for admission.
2. Entire tuitions will be waived as long as the students to maintain average grade point of 3.0/4.3.
3. Duration: 2 academic years (4 semesters)
