교육부 국립국제교육원에서 2023년 GKS 외국인 우수 자비 장학생을 아래와 같이 모집하오니, 자격을 충족하시는 외국인 유학생들은 지원해 주시기 바랍니다.

The National Institute for International Education of the Ministry of Education is recruiting excellent international students for the 2023 GKS Non-degree Scholarship as follows.

This program is designed to support financial assistance for the international students who are enrolled at undergraduate programs in Korea with no financial support or sponsor.

 

Call for Applications: GKS Non-degree Program for Self-financed Internatioanl Undergraduate Students in 2023

 

A. Qualifications for Application (all requirements must be met)

 

1. A foreign student who has completed at least two semesters of undergraduate program.

   *Note: Previous self-financed scholars who have received the scholarship twice can not reapply.

2. Those who have more than two semesters remaining until completion as of March 2023 (excluding those on leave of absence or scheduled for one, those who have completed two semesters including overtaking semesters, exchange students or those scheduled to study abroad, and those scheduled to graduate early).

3. The applicant must be of foreign nationality.

4. The applicant must have an overall average score of 80 or higher out of 100 during their entire academic year.

5. The applicant must have an average score of 80 or higher out of 100 for the previous semester.

   *Note: Please refer to the attached GPA conversion table.

6. The applicant must have obtained a level 4 or higher on the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK).

   *Note: Only scores from the TOPIK taken within the valid period as of March 1, 2023, will be accepted.

 

B. Support Details: 5,000,000 KRW in total, paid in monthly installments of 500,000 KRW.

C. Beneficial Period: March 2023 ~ December 2023

D. Number of Recipients: Up to 20 students

E. How to Apply: [Deadline: 18:00 February 24]

  - Applicant Students: Complete the online application process (SIMS of the Study in Korea System) → Print out the application form → Submit all the required documents(original) to the CSE admin office (Rm. 316, Bldg. 301).

  - Department: The department should submit official documents and relevant documents to the Office of Student Services by February 27, 2023 (Mon).

2023년 GKS 우수 자비 장학생 선발 안내

  가. 지원자격(동시 충족)

    - 학부 과정에 재학 중으로 2개학기 이상을 이수한 외국인 자비유학생

      ※ 기존 2회 외국인 우수 자비 장학금 수혜자는 지원불가

    - 2023학년도 3월 기준 2개학기 이상 이수과정이 남아있는 학생(휴학중이거나 휴학예정인 자, 초과학기 포함 2개학기 이수 잔여자, 교환학생이나 해외파견 예정자, 조기 졸업 예정자 제외)

    - 외국 국적 소유자

    - 전체 재학기간 동안 평균학점이 100점 만점에 평균 80점 이상인 학생

    - 직전학기 학점이 100점 만점에 평균 80점 이상인 학생 ※ 첨부된 성적평점 환산기준표 참조

    - 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 4급 이상 취득자 ※ 2023.3.1. 기준 유효기간 이내 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 성적표에 한함

  나. 지원내용: 500만원(월 50만원 지급)

  다. 수혜기간: 2023. 3. ~ 2023. 12.

  라. 선발인원: 최대 20명

  마. 지원방법

    1) 지원학생: 2023. 2. 24.(금) 18:00까지 온라인 지원(한국유학종합시스템 SIMS)후 → 지원서 출력 → 구비서류와 함께 학부행정실(301동 316호)로 제출

    2) 학과(부): 2023. 2. 27.(월)까지 학생행정실로 공문 및 원본서류 제출
