Heterogeneous architectures are being increasingly used as platforms for high performance computing. OpenACC is a directive-based programming model designed to allow easy access across many types of platforms including GPUs, manycore and multicore processors. In this talk, he will give an overview of his recent research related to OpenACC; an OpenACC framework for Altera FPGAs and a MPI+OpenACC framework for heterogeneous clusters such as Titan supercomputer.
Jungwon Kim is a computer scientist in Future Technologies Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he has been researching programming models for next-generation supercomputers. He received a Ph.D. in CSE under the supervision of Prof. Jaejin Lee and B.S in CSE from Seoul National University in 2013 and 2006, respectively.
